Amy Sorel - Soul Calibur 3

Haha, going back a fair way with this one! Made for a friend when I was in my first year of uni. I was (and still am) really proud of this one. It was the first time I'd gone to great lengths with my finishing - previously, my seams were raw, things were un-lined, stuff wasn't made to look good on the inside at ALL. The corset-dress in this costume is fully lined (not very well - but hey. I was learning!) and bound at all edges. The buckles at the front were bought, and the skulls were sculpted and painted by me and glued into place. The skirts were simple flared layers of brocade, elastic at the waist. The shoes were originally lilac, and were painted white and black at the sole, and embellished with elastic straps and the rose detail.

The sleeves were simple - just tubular pieces of brocade, sined with satin, bound and embellished. The choker and garters were fun little accessories - you can't see at all in these pictures, but the ends of the choker ribbon have small skull details that I sculpted. I must bother my client for some pictures!

Photos by...someone...I've forgotten who, but most likely my mum!
